Una mezcla de kitsch y de humor para una serie de imágenes increíbles. El turista, este ser curioso que aprecia sacar fotos en los distintos lugares del mundo. El fotógrafo Roger Minick se ha interesado a él y ha viajado por los Estados Unidos en los años 80 buscando gente normal visitando lugares muy turísticos. Entre ropa y actitudes, ocurre que la foto supera el cliché. Es kitsch y este viaje en las tierras americanas de los ochenta tiene aspecto de una falla espacio-temporal.
