Clement Zemstov, Damien Vandesande y Jonathan Illel conforman uno de los tríos más excitantes del nuevo panorama electrónico que llega de Francia. Los primeros escarceos editoriales de dOP se remontan a 2007 cuando entran en la nómina del sello Circus Company (en el que se encuentran otros proyectos del palo como Nôze o Dave Aju) con Between The Blues EP. Poco después saldría a la venta Passport EP que apareció en Milnor Modern (Robag Wruhme o los propios Nôze, a los que dOP han remezclado).

ENG: Before joining forces as dOP, childhood friends Clement Aichelbaum, Damien Vandesande and Jonathan Illel, had already started several band projects and experienced in different music styles like Hip-Hop, Jazz and Reggae. Moving to Electronic Dance Music proved a wise move, for soon after they were signed to Circus Company and Einmaleins, and more recently to Life & Death and Supplement Facts. The French trio’s wide musical taste and love for ‘real’ instruments is still reflected in their releases and live sets. No single performance is the same, for dOP speaks through their feelings and frame of mind, with their music and lyrics; always trying to give a message!
