Aída Miró, es una artista ibicenca dedicada en cuerpo y alma a la danza butoh y la pintura. Afincada en la isla balear, donde tiene su estudio de trabajo, ha llevado su arte a lugares tan dispares como la India, México, Nueva York o el Reino Unido, donde además ha disfrutado de largas e inspiradoras estancias.

Su obra pictórica está directamente relacionada con la música y la danza, disciplinas en las que Miró busca la forma de conectar cuerpo y espíritu (“body and soul”) por medio del pincel. Se puede apreciar el mágico resultado de esta inquietud en los retratos en primer plano, cálidos y sensuales, que ha dedicado a varios grandes artistas de la música negra y bailarinas generalmente.

Artist Aída Miró has puts her heart and soul into butoh dancing and painting.
