¿Cómo definirías tu trabajo artístico? Yo capto momentos. Cada uno de esos momentos es como una historia que empieza a desarrollarse ante mis ojos y lo que intento es que no se pierda.
¿Cuándo empezaste a pintar? Pinto desde que pude sostener un pincel en mis manos.
Háblanos sobre tu serie de las máquinas de escribir… Las máquinas de escribir, como herramientas técnicas en desuso que son, inspiran mi fantasía en clave de humor. Cada una de ellas, como las abuelas, se ha ganado un sitio en el retrato familiar.
¿Qué materiales utilizas en la serie de la ropa tendida? Pues eso trozos de ropa. La ropa es como una segunda piel, es como una máscara de nuestra identidad. Las tendencias de la moda y la variedad de las identidades son para mí un excitante material.
¿Hay mensaje en tu arte? Mis trabajos los entiendo como una oda a la amistad, a la belleza, a la vida.
¿Qué te inspira a la hora de crear? Me inspiran la fuerza y naturaleza de los colores. Los colores son para mí algo vivo. Da igual qué colores utilices, ellos empiezan a comunicarse entre sí y de ahí surge el motivo.
How would you define your artistic work? I capture moments. Each one of those moment is like a story that starts to develop right in front of my eyes and what I do is try and capture it so that it doesn´t disappear.
When did you start to paint? Ever since I can hold a paint brush.
Tell us about your typewriter series… A typewriter is a technical machine that is no longer in use; therefore they inspire the most humorous part of my imagination. Each one of them, just like a grandmother does, has won their place in the family portrait.
What materials do you use in the washing line series? Well, exactly that: pieces of clothing. Clothes are like our second skin, they are like masks that conceal our identity. The different fashion trends and the variety of the identities are a very exciting concept for me.
Is there a message to your art? I understand my word as an ode to friendship, beauty, and to life.
What inspires your creations? The strength and nature of colors inspire me. For me, colors are alive. It doesn´t matter which ones you use, they communicate with each other and from there you can discover your motive.
