El evento de este año promete ser un impresionante estímulo para los sentidos ya que actuarán 60 de los mejores artistas europeos de la calle en directo. El organizador y fundador del evento es Paul Sanders, también director del Westbank Gallery de Londres, donde muchos de estos artistas muestran su trabajo. Paul promete hacer disfrutar a la gente con música en directo de vanguardia, incluyendo House of Funk desde Miami, y The Scribes desde Glastonbury. La música al aire libre se prolongará hasta la medianoche, después los DJs continuarán la fiesta, en el interior, hasta tarde.
Por la pasarela veremos una impresionante colección de ropa deportiva de mujer donde se mezclan los estilos, de la diseñadora favorita de Vogue, Jayne Pierson, bañadores de Sumarie Couture y el lanzamiento de ‘Tailored Anarchy’, la esperada firma de ropa de Urban in Ibiza. En el desfile de moda además habrá siete chaquetas clásicas de motorista y los zapatos Creepers de Joe Strummer, que serán personalizados por artistas seleccionados antes de que se exhiban y se vendan. Los hermosos jardines de Atzaró ofrecen el escenario ideal para este evento especial que combina una fiesta musical para los oídos con moda urbana vanguardista y arte. La exposición permanecerá en Atzaró la siguiente semana al evento principal y la entrada es gratuita. ENG: Speaking of firsts, the opening night in Atzaro on August 6 will see Urban In Ibiza launch its own fashion brand – ‘Tailored Anarchy’. Its an art led collection of apparel that is not just influenced by but directly created by street artists, designed and manufactured especially for this years show. Visitors to Urban In Ibiza’s opening night in Atzaro will have the first chance to view the exciting collection on the famous Atzaro runway. Other fashion highlights include Religion supplying seven of their forthcoming leather biker jackets that selected artists have been commissioned to paint in their own style. Sumarie will offer a 007 themed swimwear show, Jayne Pierson introduces her urban sportswear collection and Love Bullets will design a range of bullet jewellery, including seven chakra necklaces. George Cox is donating seven pairs of iconic Joe Strummer brothel creepers, which will be personalized by the exhibiting artists and used in the Tailored Anarchy catwalk show.
ENG: Urban In Ibiza is the perfect place to view contemporary works from artists who are famous in their own right – Banksy, Inkie, Hush, Nick Walker, Ben Allen and Pam Glew, to name only a few. Musically, as it is the clubbing capital of the world, the schedule is top drawer – The Scribes present the very best contemporary rap and House Of Funk will perform live with Oliver Night.
