Soy fotógrafa porque amo lo que hago, para mí es una emoción muy personal poder crear algo hermoso que pueda expresar lo que tengo en mi mente y en mi corazón. La naturaleza humana es muy compleja con sus estados de ánimo, temores y esperanzas. Pienso que cuando ves un poco de verdad en una fotografía, puedes sentirte satisfecho. Amo las cosas simples, me gusta crear un mundo femenino lleno de belleza, sensualidad, emociones, sensibilidad y un toque de ensueño. No busco la originalidad sino una forma de expresarme de una manera artística. La fotografía perfecta debe ser íntima, evocadora y delicada. Las imágenes que hago incluso pueden parecer memorias o sueños, que no tienen ni un tiempo y espacio precisos.
Giorgia Borneto comenzó hace unos años con la fotografía, siempre en busca de detalles, la composición adecuada y sobre todo fotografías en exteriores o en lugares sugestivos. Tuvo siempre una gran pasión por el mundo de la moda, pero parece que el fotografiar a bellas modelos bien vestidas, no le es ya suficiente. Tal vez su viaje a la ciudad de Nueva York, le abrió una parte misteriosa de su mente, quizás sea solo su evolución interior la que le llevó frente al telón de fondo negro de un estudio. Ahora fotografía de frente mujeres fuertes, expresivas y apasionadas. A través de sus fotos ya no vemos rostros maravillosos pero anónimos, ahora percibimos el poder de una mirada femenina.
ENG: Giorgia Borneto is a young photographer based in Genoa, Italy. She started few years ago, always looking for the details, seeking the right composition and mostly shooting outdoors or in suggestive locations. She always had a strong passion about the fashion world, but it seems that shooting beautiful, well dressed models was not quite enough for her anymore. The way Giorgia takes pictures of women now, is completely different. Nobody knows why she decided to change the road she was running through. Maybe it’s her travel to New York City that opened a mysterious part of her mind, perhaps is just her inner female world that led her in front of a black backdrop of a studio. We are now in front of strong, expressive and passionate women. We don’t see anonymous wonderful faces anymore. We now perceive the power of a female glance in front of the lens. There is a life in those eyes, there is love and anger and sadness and desire! It’s like the watcher can even touch the skin of the model, it’s like he can hear her heartbeat. There is a guy as well in this series. The way he is represented is really recognizable as part of Giorgia’s works, but still in some kind of way more spontaneous and we found it interesting. It’s like he’s thinking about his addiction as a necessary venom to fill up his lungs, leaning back to remark his run-down state of mind. It’s a rest and it’s happening right now, right here.
