Inspirada por el estudio y la apreciación de la forma humana por los maestros del Renacimiento, y fuertemente influenciada por el surrealismo pop estadounidense la artista italiana ha llevado su trabajo a nuevos niveles. Los detalles y el uso magistral de la luz y, a menudo cambia los fondos minimalista con escenarios rellenos de seres etéreos arremolinados de mundos pasados, para permitir que sus personajes existan al frente y al centro, congelados en momentos de melancolía y belleza.

Inspired by the Renaissance master’s study and appreciation of the human form, and heavily informed by American pop surrealism, in her new collection the Italian artist has pushed her work to new levels with new layers of detail and masterful use of light and often minimal backgrounds – a change from busier backdrops and swirling ethereal beings of past works, to allow her characters to exist front and center, frozen in moments of melancholy and beauty.
