Este entrañable tren hizo su primer viaje como Orient Express a principios de los 80 gracias a un holandés que rescató los vagones del antiguo tren de Inca y les dio el aspecto de vagón-comedor. Desde 1982 lo conduce José que cuida muy bien de él y como no de todos sus pasajeros.
En su oferta gastronómica además del Taco de “porcella” ecológica o el Bacalao asado con tapenade y una vinagreta de tomate y piparras, también se puede emprender “un viaje al placer de los sentidos” con parada en el Pulpo a la brasa con “papas arrugadas” mojo picón y chips de ajo o las sabrosas tortillitas de camarón. Y puedes estar tranquilo porqué el tren no se va mover.
ENG: This quirky train made it´s first trip as the Orient Express in the early 80s thanks to a Dutchman who rescued the carriages from the old Inca train and gave them the carriage / dining room look they have now. José has been driving their conductor since 1982 and looks after very well both the train and all it´s passengers.
As well as the ecological pork Taco or the roast codfish with tapenade and a tomato and piparra vinaigrette, you can also take a “trip to the pleasure of the senses” with a stop at braised squid with “wrinkly potatoes” “mojo picón” and garlic chips, or the tasty shrimp pancakes. And you can enjoy safely knowing that the train isn´t going anywhere.
